The goal of this project is to create a cheap little handheld laboratory with much functionality as possible using the Beagle board as core.

Main functionality will include oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, logic analyzer, function generator. Other possible functions like pattern recorder/player, protocol analysis, de/modulator, GPIB/USBTMC, etc. could be added later as plugins.

It should have integrated LCD with touchscreen, container box, necessary buttons, integrated battery, USB communication and user-friendly GUI.

It is a long project that may take up to a year because of the hard work that must be done in software and hardware.
